THE PINHEIRO RESIN CONTAINS, IN ITS PRIMARY COMPOSITION, AN ALIPHATIC RING, ABIETIC ACID, WHICH, IN CONTACT WITH THE ISOCIANATE, LEADS TO THE RELEASE OF CARBON DIOXIDE RESULTING IN A FINAL PRODUCT THAT HAS THE STRUCTURE OF A CELL FOAM.
