The invention relates to an antifungal and antibacterial composition meant for conservation of cultural heritage objects. According to the invention, the composition consists of 3...7% beeswax, 65...75% lanolin, 3...5% synthetic neat's foot oil, 8...13% hexane, 2...3% vitamin A, up to 6% collagen hydrolysate and 4...6% Tanacetum vulgare essential oil, the percentage being expressed by mass, the composition being presented as a yellowish homogeneous paste with a dry matter content of 88...90% and a proteinaceous substance content of up to 4.8%.
