According to the invention, the system consists of a float (10) attached to the base of each FDR or CVR (9) by two collars (11) of austenitic stainless steel strip, firmly closed with a cogged buckle (12) made also of austenitic stainless steel strip, the float (10) being made with an armour (5 and 7) made of Ti alloy filled with a core (6) of agglomerated cork, a solution similar to the technical solution used to make storage units (2) resistant to crash.
