The invention relates to an ecological process for preparing raw materials to be used as animal feed. According to the invention, the process comprises the aqueous, alcoholic or hydro-alcoholic extraction of a mixture of wastes of aromatic and medicinal plants, such as Origanum vulgare L., Apium Graveolens L 1753, Momordica Charantia L. and Salvia officinalis L., for 2 h, at a temperature of 55°C, after which the dry plant material is homogeneously admixed with a usual binder, with a concentration of 1...3% in aqueous solution and is granulated , using a granulator with a sieve mesh size of 4 mm, to result in a mixture as granules meant to be used for animal feed.
