A COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD OF COLLECTING GARBAGE

The present utility model relates to a method of collecting garbage from garbage pick-up locations with a garbage collecting truck by utilizing an application with services from computer programs thru global computer networks. The computer implemented method helps garbage truck drivers save time and energy as well as fuel thru pre-scheduled and pre-identified pick-up points defined by an administrator wherein pick-up points are covered at the shortest path possible. The method also helps residents monitor garbage collection schedules and identify pick-up locations as well as the current location, action and estimated time of arrival of the garbage trucks. Residents can also inform garbage truck drivers for uncollected garbages. The utility model presents three (3) application modules namely administrator, garbage truck driver and resident. These applications uses a computer program for location, tracking and mapping services and a computer program for processing and storing of information from and to said applications. The utility model provides an efficient and systematic method of collecting garbage.
