The present utility model discloses the process of producing larvicide for killing 3rd - 4th instar larvae before turning to an adult biting mosquito causing dengue using plurality of fresh young leaves of San Francisco (Codiaeum variegatum) and sugar apple (Annona squamosa) comprising the steps of collecting a pre-determined San Francisco and sugar apple leaves; weighing said leaves amounting to 40 pcnt each; pounding the weighed leaves; extracting the essential oils from said pounded leaves and setting aside for at least 5-10 minutes; adding 20 pcnt of ethanol to the extract; and straining said extract.
