POSITION REPORTING AND NAVIGATION IN AN INTEGRATED FLIGHT APPLICATION USING BULLSEYE

Position reporting and navigating using a bullseye in an integrated flightapplicationincludes obtaining bullseye coordinates in a map reference frame. The mapreference frame isassociated with a map of the integrated flight application. Position reportingand navigatingusing a bullseye in an integrated flight application further includesdetermining current locationcoordinates in the map reference frame, rendering the map with the bullseyeand a currentlocation indicator superimposed on the map, using the bullseye coordinates andthe currentlocation coordinates in the map reference frame, determining the currentlocation coordinatesin a bullseye reference frame, and reporting the current location in thebullseye referenceframe.
