The present invention relates to a method for preparing a core-shell copolymer, and more specifically, to a method for preparing a core-shell copolymer, a core-shell copolymer prepared by the method, and a resin composition comprising the core-shell copolymer. In particular, the method comprises the steps of: with respect to 100 parts by weight of total monomers, polymerizing 70 to 90 parts by weight of a methyl methacrylate monomer and 1 to 20 parts by weight of an alkyl methacrylate monomer having 2-12 carbon atoms, thereby polymerizing a core (S10); during the core polymerization in step (S10), when a polymerization conversion rate is 70% to 90%, adding and polymerizing 1 to 10 parts by weight of a methyl methacrylate monomer and 0.04 to 0.7 parts by weight of a polyfunctional acrylic crosslinker, thereby polymerizing a core (S20); and in the presence of the core polymerized in step (S20), adding and polymerizing 1 to 10 parts by weight of a methyl methacrylate monomer and 1 to 10 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer, thereby polymerizing a core-shell copolymer (S30).
