Disclosed is an integrated freezing and thawing cabinet, comprising a heat preservation box and sealed containers (3). The heat preservation box comprises a freezing compartment (1) and a thawing compartment (2), wherein box-type frames are respectively fixed inside the freezing compartment (1) and the thawing compartment (2); sealing plates (13, 14, 15, 16 and 23, 24, 25, 26) are fixed on the top, the bottom, the front and the back of the frames; an air outlet duct board (11) and an air returning duct board (12) are respectively fixed on the left side and the right side of each frame; the sealed containers (3) are in a flat shape and can be placed in the frames of the freezing compartment (1) and the thawing compartment (2) in a layered manner; rows of heat conducting fins (31) are welded or riveted to an upper surface and a lower surface of each sealed container (3); a channel (33) is formed by means of a gap between two adjacent rows of heat conducting fins (31), one end of the channel is aimed at air outlet holes (111, 211) of the air outlet duct board (11) and the other end is aimed at air returning holes of the air returning duct board (12). The bottom of the frame in the freezing compartment (1) is provided with a cold air generating apparatus; and the bottom of the frame in the thawing compartment (2) is provided with a cold and hot air flow generating apparatus. The freezing speed and the thawing speed of the integrated cabinet are fast, which not only can effectively suppress the propagation of microbes, better protecting the quality of food materials, but also can save on energy greatly. Further disclosed is a method for using the integrated cabinet to freeze and thaw meat.
