The present invention provides an account management system for an e-commerce transaction platform, including a mobile terminal permission acquisition module, a navigation information acquisition module, a storage module, a trace analyzing module and an account authentication module. The mobile terminal permission acquisition module is configured to send a navigation permission request to a mobile terminal. The navigation information acquisition module is configured to acquire navigation information and the historical record thereof from the mobile terminal. The trace analyzing module is configured to acquire navigation trace information of a corresponding account from the storage module, and the account authentication module sends to the mobile terminal the trace verification information generated by the trace analyzing module, and performs verification. The present invention further provides a method used to the account management system of the e-commerce transaction platform. The present invention uses navigation trace verification information to verify a login account, enables very easy usage, provides a high degree of verification accuracy and confidentiality and good authentication security, and can be widely used.
