The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a manifold insulator for a molten carbonate fuel cell, and a manifold insulator for a molten carbonate fuel cell, which is manufactured using same and has an intaglio part having a specular surface and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a manifold insulator for a molten carbonate fuel cell, and a manifold insulator for a molten carbonate fuel cell, which is manufactured using same and has an intaglio part having a specular surface, in which even the intaglio part formed on one surface of the insulator can be subjected to a grinding process to have a specular surface, so as to enable manufacturing of a manifold insulator for a molten carbonate fuel cell, which has an intaglio part having a specular surface, thereby preventing electrolyte from finely flowing from a fuel cell stack along the surface of an insulator to be short-circuited with a manifold.
