According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, where a bandwidth part adjustment command is not aimed at a target bandwidth part, a bandwidth part at which the bandwidth part adjustment command is aimed can be adjusted according to the bandwidth part adjustment command, and random access is continued, such that the adjustment of the bandwidth part and the random access can be carried out simultaneously, thereby avoiding causing a delay to the adjustment of the bandwidth part or the random access, ensuring that the two operations can both be completed in time, and being suitable for the requirement for more services.
