An acceleration control system and chip based on a thresholding method, and a robot. The control system and chip are used to perform reading and writing to an external image memory via an AHB bus. The acceleration control system comprises a main control module, a thresholding module, and a thresholding FIFO module. The main control module is used to control, via an interface control state machine, the AHB bus to read pixel data to be processed inside the image memory when a main state machine is in a burst read mode state, and to control burst transmission of current pixel data inside the AHB bus to the thresholding module for processing. The main control module is also used to control, via a burst read state machine, the thresholding FIFO module to read binarized data acquired by processing pixel data inside the thresholding module from the previous burst transmission, such that the acceleration control system increases the processing speed of thresholding by means of running a pipeline until all of the pixel data stored inside the image memory has been processed, and to inform that a transmission to a CPU has failed.
