The invention relates to a method for determining a position parameter (d, d', v, v') of an object (3) in an environment (4) of a vehicle (1) on the basis of fused sensor data (18), wherein first and second sensor data (15, 16) relating to the object (3) are captured by means of at least one first and second sensor (5, 6) of the vehicle (1), respectively, the first and second sensor data (15, 16) are fused and in dependency of the fused first and second sensor data (15, 16) the position parameter (d, v) of the object (3) is determined. Further, the position parameter (d, v) is corrected in dependency of only the first sensor data (15, 16) and the result is provided as corrected position parameter (d', v').
