Provided are an ash removal method and an ash removal system for a dry distillation gasification incineration-treatment device, in which ash removal can be performed rapidly and automatically, without allowing incinerated substances to scatter. An ash removal system 51 is used for a dry distillation gasification incineration-treatment device 1 comprising a dry distillation furnace 2a and a combustion furnace 4 that burns flammable gas. The ash removal system comprises: a bottom door 7a provided at the bottom of the dry distillation furnace 2a; a surfactant aqueous solution spraying nozzle 52 that sprays a surfactant aqueous solution onto an incinerated substance B; a cylinder 53 that raises/lowers the bottom door 7a; a blade 62 that removes the incinerated substance B; a container 66 that houses the incinerated substance B that has been removed; and a rotating brush 63 that sweeps the incinerated substance B left on the bottom door 7a.
