The present invention pertains to: a compound which binds to a prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) and inhibits the activity thereof; and a pharmaceutical composition for diagnosing or treating prostate cancer, the pharmaceutical composition containing the compound as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, enzymatic action can be inhibited through excellent binding to PSMA overexpressed in prostate cancer, or clear images of prostate cancer tumor sites can be obtained through strong binding, and by using same, prostate cancer can be diagnosed or treated early.
