The present invention relates to the technical field of security certificates, in particular to a manufacturing method of colored anti-counterfeiting identification card and the colored anti-counterfeiting identification card, wherein the method comprises: by means of laser etching, user identity information is etched on the substrate of the identification card on the information side, wherein the user identity information comprises: a black and white image and text information; using color ink to print a colored image on the black and white image, so as to align and overlap the color image and the black and white image with each other, and to obtain a personalized information side; using transparent gloss oil to print a transparent protective layer on the upper surface of the personalized information side, the transparent protective layer covering the colored image. The method effectively prevents others from tampering with the color portrait; further, a colored portrait of the user is arranged in the security identification card produced using said method, so that the security identification card is more attractive in appearance, meeting the aesthetic requirement of people for the the security identification card in modern days.
