After fixation with 10% formalin and being soaked in distilled water for 1-2 days to ensure that the formalin is removed, the bones and cartilage are dyed blue with the dye Alcian Blue 8GX. Then which is treated with various concentrations of alcohol and trypsin to make the muscles transparent while retaining the blue color of the cartilage. The bones are then dyed red with alizarin red and being transparent again by mixing 0.5% KOH and glycerin in different proportions, then it is plasticized with polyvinylpyrrolidone. Finally, seal the specimen with epoxy resin. The finished specimen is beautiful, safe, nontoxic and easy to transport. The dyed intact skeleton can be seen directly through transparent resin and muscle.
