A sunflower head-Job's tears seed compound composition and a use thereof in preparing drugs for treating liver damage. The sunflower head-Job's tears seed compound composition is produced according to the following mass fraction: 25-35 parts sunflower head, and 15-25 parts Job's tears seeds. In the present invention, sunflower head and Job's tears seeds, being both medicinal and edible, are used to compose a compound preparation, and the invention features anti-inflammatory effects and reparative effects for liver damage resulting from causes such as hyperuricemia, carbon tetrachloride, or alcohol, and may be used in treating liver damage and disease.
