DAIRY CATTLE FEED ADDITIVE COMPRISING N-ACETYL-L-TRYPTOPHAN AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

The present application pertains to a dairy cattle feed additive composition comprising N-acetyl-L-tryptophan (NALT) and, more particularly, to a feed additive composition comprising N-acetyl-L-tryptophan as an active ingredient for increasing feed intake of daily cattle, the body weights of calves delivered by dairy cattle, milk production of daily cattle, and milk protein contents of daily cattle, and for augmenting immunity of calves delivered by daily cattle; a feed comprising the dairy cattle feed additive composition; and a method for increasing feed intake of daily cattle, the body weights of calves delivered by dairy cattle, milk production of daily cattle, and milk protein contents of daily cattle, for augmenting immunity of calves delivered by daily cattle, and for breeding daily cattle, the method comprising a step of feeding a dairy cattle feed additive composition or a feed comprising N-acetyl-L-tryptophan (NALT) as an active ingredient to dairy cattle. According to the present application, N-acetyl-L-tryptophan (NALT) increases feed intake of daily cattle, the body weights of calves delivered by dairy cattle, milk production of daily cattle, and milk protein contents of daily cattle, and augments immunity of calves delivered by daily cattle and as such, can be advantageously contained and used as an active ingredient in a feed additive composition or a feed.
