This aerodynamic characteristics estimation device efficiently obtains air resistance information of a bicycle on which a cycler is riding from a detection result including the detected speed of the bicycle and force applied to pedals attached to the bicycle. Specifically, the aerodynamic characteristics estimation device is provided with: a detection unit which detects the speed of a bicycle and/or the acceleration of the bicycle during pedaling; a detection unit which detects pedaling force during pedaling; and a calculation unit which estimates, using the speed of the bicycle and the acceleration of the bicycle obtained from a detection result and the pedaling force detected by the pedaling force detection unit, air resistance information indicating aerodynamic characteristics acting on the bicycle on which a cycler is riding, on the basis of a calculation result of dynamics analysis according to an equation of motion that is satisfied with respect to the direction of travel of the bicycle.
