Disclosed in the present invention is structural steel, comprising an upper flange and a web, wherein an end part of at least one among the upper flange and the web is provided with an outer extension section extending outwardly. Also disclosed in the present invention are structural steel-UHPC composite slabs, the structural steel-UHPC composite slabs comprising UHPC slabs and the structural steel above, the UHPC slabs being fixedly connected to the structural steel, and the structural steel being arranged along a longitudinal bridge direction. Also disclosed in the present invention is a bridge deck, wherein the bridge deck is formed mainly by a plurality of the structural steel-UHPC composite slabs described above being connected in the longitudinal bridge direction, and adjacent structural steel-UHPC composite slabs are connected one to the other by means of a cast-in-place connection portion. At the same time, also disclosed by the present invention is structural steel, structural steel-UHPC composite slabs and a bridge deck of another structural form. The structural steel, structural steel-UHPC composite slabs and bridge deck of the present invention solve the problems in which the bridge deck at a negative bending moment area of a transverse joint of a fulcrum in a continuous beam bridge cracks easily and the transverse joint between main beam bridge decks in the midspan of a cable-stayed bridge cracks easily.
