The present invention provides: a precursor solution of a garnet solid electrolyte, which improves the lithium ion conductivity; a method for producing a precursor solution of a garnet solid electrolyte; and a garnet solid electrolyte. A precursor solution of a garnet solid electrolyte according to the present invention is represented by the composition formula described below, while containing one kind of a solvent, and a lithium compound, a lanthanum compound, a zirconium compound, a gallium compound and a neodymium compound, said compounds being soluble in the solvent. This precursor solution of a garnet solid electrolyte is configured such that with respect to the stoichiometric composition of the composition formula described below, the content of the lithium compound is from 1.05 times to 1.30 times (inclusive), while the contents of the lanthanum compound, the zirconium compound, the gallium compound and the neodymium compound are equivalent. (Li7-3xGax)(La3-yNdy)Zr2O12 (In the formula, x and y satisfy 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 1.0 and 0.0 y ≤ 0.2.)
