The present invention relates to a combination of configurations for copings and for the fibre bar for manufacturing a dental prosthesis framework, and also describes a method for obtaining a dental prosthesis framework using one of the described copings and the fibre bar. The configuration feature applied to the coping is that of providing at least one incorporated hook to accommodate the fibre bar, withstand the stress on the framework and contribute to the adhesiveness of the fibre bar to the coping, also aiding in maintaining the moulded shape of the bar whilst it hasn't polymerized. The feature of the fibre bar is that it can be produced from a bundle of parallel fibres that are longitudinally aligned, non-fragmented and covered by a woven glass-fibre jacket, there also optionally being a seam to ensure a flattened cross section.
