An unmanned water vessel type submerged plant coverage apparatus for a shallow lake. The unmanned water vessel type submerged plant coverage apparatus comprises an unmanned water vessel main body (1), a GPS positioning device (2), an embedded central processor, a wide-angle image sensor (3), a gyroscope (4), a sonar detector (5), a handheld operation display screen (7), and a high-performance storage device (6). The GPS positioning device and the embedded central processor are mounted in the unmanned water vessel main body (1). The wide-angle image sensor (3), the gyroscope (4), and the sonar detector (5) are mounted at the front end of the unmanned water vessel main body (1) in combination. By use of the coverage apparatus, the problem of being difficult to implement rapid, accurate and large-range monitoring of the submerged plant distribution and coverage statistics in a shallow lake environment is solved, without damaging an original community structure, and powerful data support is provided for scientifically and objectively estimating the ecological health of the shallow lake.
