Disclosed are an image reproducing device for learning a foreign language, which can provide a section image of a corresponding sentence and learning data when a sentence requiring additional learning exists while learning a foreign language using a video, an image reproducing method for learning a foreign language, and a computer-readable recording medium and a program thereof. The image reproducing device of the present invention comprises: a multimedia content receiving unit for receiving all information related to multimedia content selected by a user for learning a foreign language from a server; a display unit for displaying all lines of the received multimedia content in a book form, and displaying a description screen for a sentence selected by the user for additional learning among sentences of the lines; a selected sentence search unit for searching for the sentence selected by the user; and an image reproducing unit for reproducing an image of the sentence searched by the selected sentence search unit to display the same on the description screen of the display unit.
