The present invention relates to a composition for DNA sequence analysis, and a DNA sequence analysis method comprising a step of applying the composition to a sample. Specifically, the present invention relates to a composition comprising a compound represented by formula 1, and a DNA sequence analysis method comprising a step of applying the composition to a sample. The compound represented by formula 1 of the present invention includes a polypyrrole linked with TAMRA, and thus specifically binds to an A/T base pair (W) to fluoresce alone while DNA molecules are not photodegraded. Therefore, the compound can be particularly useful for DNA analysis purposes at the level of a single DNA molecule.
