CCTV Similarity-based CCTV Image Data Deduplication System using Big Data Analysis and method thereof

An objective of the present invention is to provide a similarity-based CCTV video data deduplication system using big data analysis, which performs image analysis based on big data to determine a similarity between pieces of video data so as to prevent similar video data from being stored in duplication; and a method thereof. To this end, according to the present invention, the similarity-based CCTV video data deduplication system comprises: one or more CCTV cameras generating CCTV video data; a cloud server receiving the CCTV video data from the CCTV cameras, dividing the CCTV video data every event occurrence time to generate video block data, providing a big data server with event video block data generated in a predetermined event occurrence time point and the latest video block data stored in the latest time, receiving a similarity analysis result between the event video block data and the latest video block data from the big data server, and storing the event video block data only when the event video block data is different from the latest video block data; and the big data server receiving the event video block data and the latest video block data from the cloud server, and analyzing similarity between the event video block data and the latest video block data through big data analysis.
