An apparatus for foreign language conversation practice according to the present invention comprises: a plot-based dialogue model generation part which generates a learning conversation dialogue about a topic for learning a foreign language conversation in a plot-based dialogue model form; a destination-oriented conversation intellectualuzation part which automatically changes the learning conversation dialogue to available knowledge in a destination-oriented dialogue system to generate a plot-based dialogue knowledge DB by topic; and a plot-based conversation processing unit which conducts a conversation with a learner to respond to foreign language level information and progress information registered by the earner using information stored in the plot-based conversation knowledge DB for each subject, and provides accuracy for the result of the conversation.
