The present invention relates to: a dielectric barrier discharge plasma reactor for non-oxidative coupling of methane whose average value of a gap distance between dielectric particles in a packed bed is controlled to improve methane conversion and/or product selectivity; and a method for producing C_2+ hydrocarbons comprising a step of converting methane to C2 or higher hydrocarbons including ethylene and/or ethane through the non-oxidative coupling of methane in the reactor.
