The present invention relates to an energy independence system using pure oxygen combustion power generation to increase an energy independence level and new/renewable energy. More specifically, according to the present invention, the energy independence system comprises: a fuel supply unit supplying a low grade fuel; a low grade fuel power generation unit performing pyrolysis by using the low grade fuel supplied through the fuel supply unit as an energy source to generate electricity; a new/renewable energy unit producing electricity through new/renewable energy; a water electrolysis unit using the electricity produced through the new/renewable energy unit to water electrolysis to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen; a pure oxygen supply unit supplying pure oxygen from the water electrolysis unit or the outside to reduce a pollution source during power generation of the low grade fuel power generation unit; a methanation unit performing methanation which couples carbon monoxide or dioxide produced through the low grade fuel power generation unit to the hydrogen separated through the water electrolysis to produce methane; and a methane processing unit capturing the methane produced through the methanation unit to store or transfer the same to the outside.
