Disclosed is a method for analyzing population and estimating a pollution level for emergency reaction in case of a nuclear accident. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for estimating population performed by a device for estimating population may comprise the steps of: storing location information of a nuclear power plant on a map; and predicting points of occurrence of multiple unit accidents based on information of a plurality of single units related to the nuclear power plant stored on the map.
