Provided are a server, a user terminal, and a method for providing real-time player-vs-player (PVP) broadcast contents, capable of inducing participation of users. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the server for providing the real-time PVP broadcast contents includes: a communication module for performing communication with a user terminal; and at least one processor operatively connected to the communication module, wherein the at least one processor is configured to transmit the real-time PVP broadcast contents including a real-time PVP battle video through the communication module, receive a participation request from the user terminal receiving the real-time PVP broadcast contents, allow the user terminal to enter a waiting room for a real-time PVP match in response to the participation request, determine one of user terminals entering the waiting room, and perform a new real-time PVP match between a winner of the real-time PVP match and the determined user terminal.
