The present invention relates to a flame piloting baffle of a gas burner of a gas heater which is a natural gas supply apparatus and, more specifically, to a gas heater comprising a flame piloting baffle capable of suppressing formation of soot during combustion. According to the present invention, the gas heater comprising a flame piloting baffle, which is a gas heater for heating natural gas by combustion heat, comprises: a combustion chamber which burns a gas fuel to generate flames; a fuel supply pipe which supplies the gas fuel to the combustion chamber; a spray nozzle which is installed at an end of the fuel supply pipe and sprays gas fuel; and a flame piloting baffle which has the fuel supply pipe passing therethrough, is installed on the back of the spray nozzle, and protects the generated flames. The flame piloting baffle may include: a diffuser hole which is installed so that air for combustion is introduced into the combustion chamber while forming a vortex; and an orifice hole which is installed so that the air for combustion is introduced into the combustion chamber while forming laminar flow.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
