The present invention relates to a reversible cold-rolling apparatus with a means for reducing an edge crack of a strip and a strip edge crack reducing method using the same. The cold-rolling apparatus with a means for reducing an edge crack of a strip comprises: a pair of reels to wind and unwind the strip while moving the strip in a forward direction or a reverse direction; a work roll arranged between the pair of reels and positioned on an upper portion and a lower portion of the moving strip to roll the strip; a pair of side guide rolls which are arranged on both sides of the moving strip and guide the strip; a sensor unit to sense vibration of the side guide rolls; a vibration analysis unit to analyze a vibration signal sensed by the sensor unit; a compensation displacement calculation unit to calculate compensation displacement of the strip for collision prevention between the side guide rolls and the strip based on results of the analysis; and a position adjustment unit to adjust a moving path of the strip by the compensation displacement.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
