The fluid-actuated linear actuator 30 is located at a fixed angular position relative to the first component 32 and at a fixed angular position relative to the helical alignment surface 40 and the second component 33 around the operating axis. It has a follower (50). When the first and second components are moved relative to the opposite side upon contraction of the actuator, the follower 50 can be rotated so that the first and second components 32 and 33 are rotated to a predetermined relative angular position. It is coupled to the spiral orientation surface 40 and moves along it.
