By containing an Arctium lappa leaf extract or an Arctium lappa aerial part extract of as an active component, the composition can alleviate, prevent or treat chronic inflammation diseases caused by hyperactivity of NLRP3 inflammasome. In addition, the composition has no toxicity, thereby being able to be consumed in the form of food.
