The present invention relates to: a preoperative biomarker which can predict the prognosis after pancreatic resection of a pancreatic cancer patient; and a method using the same. According to a composition for predicting prognosis of the pancreatic cancer patient, a kit thereof, and a prognostic method for predicting prognosis of the pancreatic cancer patient according to an aspect, it is possible to simply diagnose the prognosis after pancreatic resection of the pancreatic cancer patient, thereby being able to reduce side effects of pancreatic cancer resection and perform patient-specific treatment.
