Disclosed is a method for detecting application malware based on dynamic API extraction, a recording medium for performing the same and a device thereof. The application malware detection method based on dynamic API extraction includes a step of creating an API classifier that classifies the input API as malicious or general using the API used in the sample application classified as the malicious application group or the general application group and classifying the classified target API as malicious or general by inputting a pre-stored target API to the API classifier.
