Disclosed are a method and device for cognitive-behavioral therapy for solving a clients psychological problem using virtual reality. The cognitive-behavioral therapy method using virtual reality comprises: a step of preparing a video corresponding to various basic situations to be provided to a client to be treated depending on the situation and various social interaction videos of a counterpart interacting with the client; a step of putting a VR headset on the client and providing the video corresponding to the basic situation among the interaction videos; a step of, when the clients operation starts or ends, detecting a point in time at which the clients operation starts and ends while the client performs a previously directed operation toward the counterpart in the virtual reality; a step of determining the social interaction video corresponding to a start or end time of the operation among the interaction videos and providing a seamless connection between the current video being viewed by the client and the determined social interaction video; and a step of, when the playback of the determined social interaction video is completed, providing a seamless connection with the video corresponding to the basic situation. According to the present invention, a subjects psychological problem can be solved because a subject is asked to read a self-healing phrase, and positive feedback is provided whenever the subject reads the self-healing phrase.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
