The present invention relates to a method for recovering polystyrene from flame-retardant waste expanded polystyrene and to the recovered recycled polystyrene, and more particularly, to recover polystyrene in a simple and economical process through solvent treatment and layer separation of specific components from flame-retardant waste expanded polystyrene. Relates to a method and a regenerated polystyrene having semi-flammability and differentiated physical properties produced in this way.
