In this case, the path of the facial nerve canal in its three knees is preliminarily laid with yellow polymer thread. The proposed model fully and on the same scale repeats the complex anatomy of the temporal bone and makes it possible to master the basic skills for beginning otosurgeons. Under the conditions of import substitution, the cost of a domestic analogue of artificial temporal bone is 5-7 times cheaper than foreign analogues. This tutorial can be used to educate students, graduate students and residents of medical schools throughout the Russian Federation.
