FIELD: electrical engineering.;SUBSTANCE: disclosed power supply comprises a quasi-resonance single-cycle forward-path voltage converter with switching at zero current and half-wave resonance cycle, comprising primary single-cycle inverter, inverter control circuit, pulse transformer, resonant circuit, half-wave rectifier, output inductive-capacitive filter. Distinctive feature of the source is that control of the key element of the inverter, which can be built according to the "skew bridge" scheme, containing two switches, or according to the scheme of the single-cycle forward-path converter, containing one transistor key, is implemented so that irrespective of input voltage and load power duration of key control pulse is always equal to duration of half-wave of resonant cycle current. Technical result consists in that the duration of the open state of the primary inverter switches will always be the lowest possible from the point of view of the used resonance mode.;EFFECT: amplitude of magnetizing current of primary winding of high-frequency transformer, and hence losses for remagnetization always will be minimum.;1 cl, 2 dwg
