FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental medicine and ophthalmology, and can be used for treating experimental chemical burns and cataracts modeled on Chinchillas rabbits. That is ensured by instillation of 1–2.5 % (S)-2,6-diaminohexanoic acid solution of 3-methyl-1,2,4-triazolyl-5-thioacetate 3 times a day in burns for 14 days.
