Performing before operation or before compression of renal artery ultrasonic examination in B-mode and mode of duplex scanning. During the study, the degree of blood supply of the tumor thrombosis and its invasion into the vascular wall is determined. If observing the hypervascularisation of the tumor thrombosis and the absence of its invasion into the vascular wall, the thrombus size is predicted after the intraoperative clamping of the renal artery along the length of the inferior vena cava.
