METHOD FOR SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF RECURRENT CHRONIC FRONTAL SINUSITIS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology. It is followed by repeated extranasal exposure of frontal sinus. Frontal nasal fistula is formed. Endoprosthesis is inserted into the formed frontal-nasal fistula through an opened frontal sinus. Endoprosthesis is represented by a coronary stent fixed on the balloon in compressed state. Coronary stent is introduced to the level of the nasal opening of the frontal-nasal fistula. In balloon, atmospheric air is injected until fixation of coronary stent in the tissues of frontal nasal fistula. Air from the balloon is bleached; the balloon is removed. Bone graft is formed, the diameter of which is 2–3 mm larger than the diameter of the trephine opening.
