FIELD: weapons and ammunition.;SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of controlling scattering of jet projectiles by means of a race ring with an apparatus for electromagnetic fixation of the position of a rotating part of a combat vehicle of a volley fire system, in which a rotating part is further stopped by means of power magnets. Magnet locking device comprises race ring rigidly coupled with frame ring assembly. Race ring includes an inner ring – a fixed part of a race ring with a gear rim, which is connected to the main gear of the rotary mechanism, and an external ring forming a ball bearing. Electromagnet is installed in the protective casing from the inner side of the base above the stationary race ring.;EFFECT: exclusion of influence of "dead" stroke (back-lash) in system "inner race ring – root gear", stabilization of stable position of pack of starting guides in horizontal plane, higher accuracy of firing.;2 cl, 3 dwg
