FIELD: construction.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular, to quality control of strength characteristics of soils. Disclosed is a method of seismoacoustic evaluation of deformation-strength properties of soil, involving preliminary establishment of correlation dependencies between deformation-strength characteristics of a certain type of soil and speeds of passage of longitudinal and transverse elastic waves in given form of soil, measurement of speed of passage of longitudinal and transverse elastic waves in analysed soil and evaluation of deformation-strength characteristics of analysed soil using established correlation dependencies. According to the invention, preliminary establishment of correlation dependencies is carried out based on generalization of data available in published printed sources, without seismoacoustic measurements, and correlation dependencies are formulated in the form of dependencies of values of static modulus of deformation and elasticity of certain type of soil on values of longitudinal and transverse waves in these soils.;EFFECT: technical result is reduction of labour intensity and time for determining deformation-strength characteristics of soils during construction of objects in different soils.;5 cl, 6 dwg
