TECHNOLOGIES FOR INTERNET OF THINGS KEY MANAGEMENT

Internet of Things (IoT) device key management technologies include an IoT device, a central authority server, and a group management server. The IoT device is configured to authenticate itself to a central authority server via an offline communication channel, to receive a private key for a group member as a function of the authentication to the central authority server, and to communicate via a secure online communication channel authenticate to a group management server using the group member private key. The IoT device is further configured to receive, as a function of the authentication at the group management server, a shared group key, to encrypt secret data with the shared group key, and to send the encrypted secret data to the group management server.
