The invention is in the field of enzyme technology. The invention relates to laccases, which can be used in particular with a view to their use in detergents and cleaning agents, all sufficiently similar laccases with a sequence similar to SEQ ID NO: 1 and nucleic acids coding for them. The invention further relates to their production and methods for using these laccases, their use as such and agents containing them, in particular detergents and cleaning agents.
